KidzArt/Art Innovators Fuels Growth with New Domestic and Canadian Franchisees

Leading Art Franchise Organization Expands into Arkansas, Canada as Demand for After School Art Education Remains Strong

(Jackson, MI, September 2, 2012)– KidzArt/Art Innovators, a leading international art education franchise company, announced that it has recently finalized nine new franchise agreements to bring it's art instruction services to new markets in the US and Canada.  As school districts fight for funding for arts education, especially in schools with high poverty rates, the demand for academic-enhancing art instruction to fill this void remains strong.

Founded in 1998, KidzArt/Art Innovators now has over seventy-five franchisees in twelve countries. With its recent expansion into new markets, KidzArt/Art Innovators opened it first franchise in the state of Arkansas this summer and has expanded with additional franchisees in Illinois, Maryland, Missouri and North Carolina. Additionally, three new franchises have opened in Ontario and British Columbia, Canada.

"While there are a large variety of sports, dance, martial arts programs and camps to choose from there are not many art enrichment programs offered in my area," says Paul Field, new KidzArt/Art Innovators owner in Kitchener, Ontario. "I am very excited about the response I am getting from parents, social agencies and principals. Creating art builds children's self esteem and empowers them."

KidzArt/Art Innovators offers a unique art and drawing curriculum for all ages, from preschoolers to adults. The program teaches how to express and gain greater self-confidence through drawing. In addition to after-school art programs, the company provides art birthday parties, workshops and art camps for students during school vacations and the summer break.

"We welcome our new franchisees to KidzArt/Art Innovators and look forward to offering our art instruction to children in these new regions," said Sue Bartman, CEO of KidzArt/Art Innovators. "Our new territories illustrate the continued opportunity KidzArt/Art Innovators has to offer afterschool art enrichment to kids of all ages."

KidzArt/Art Innovators announces the following new franchisees that will expand the company's offerings in the following markets:

  • Bentonville, AR- Melanie Comber
