About Us

Owner and Instructor Valerie Jones is a stay-at-home mother of four children ranging in age from 11 to 4. She holds a B.A. in elementary education and spent over 10 years in the classroom before putting her career on hold to raise a family. After discovering KidzArt on the internet a few years ago, Valerie has built the Mid Missouri location into a thriving organization serving Jefferson City schools, daycare centers, and the Parks & Recreation department. Her quick wit and energetic teaching style keep children all over Jefferson City asking for her KidzArt classes.

We have an enthusiastic and well-trained team of certified instructors and camp counselors who love being a part of KidzArt and working with children of all ages.

Community

KidzArt enjoys being actively involved in the community. Often, KidzArt will donate gift certificates for classes or birthday parties to a school's silent auction or raffle. KidzArt is committed to bringing quality art education to everyone. Look for our free classes as part of Missouri River Regional Library's summer children's programs and as part of Big Brothers/Big Sisters' monthly programs.

Locations

Camps are conducted in cooperation with Jefferson City Parks and Recreation. Check their guide for more information. After school classes are currently being conducted at Trinity Lutheran School, St. Stanislaus School, St. Peter School, and St. Joseph School. Don't see your school's name on the list; ask your principal about bringing KidzArt to your school. Preschools: Bright Horizons Learning Center.
